Caroline's Tavern opened on Avenel Street and the neighborhood claimed it almost immediately. Pull up a chair — this is your place too.

So glad we went here. Had the pierogi appetizer which wasn't much pierogi but pierogi-ish. Also had the truffle chicken wings which were super good. For dinner I had the French onion French dip which was absolutely amazing. I loved that they gave you a little bag of popcorn .Our servers were great.

I wish this spot was closer to home! The service was incredible, Eric got us everything we needed with no wait. The food was all delicious, the bang bang shrimp especially was incredible. I loved the atmosphere, I appreciate going to restaurants that aren't too loud and this place was perfect.

We are so happy to have Caroline’s in the neighborhood! The place is beautiful and the service was spot on. The server put a delicious bag of seasoned popcorn on the table after we were seated, yummy!! I had the short ribs the first time and the double burger on an English muffin another time !! The best burger ever! I highly recommend this place!

Stopped in after a show next door and was entirely impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. My friend had some dietary restrictions that the chef took to heart and made her a delicious custom dish. My other friend had a cocktail (Long Island Iced Tea) that he said was among the best he'd had. The food otherwise was very good. I would definitely be a regular if I lived closer.

First visit, the menu id filled with great choices, everything sounded great. We had pretzel app and cauliflower app, both VERY good. We had the steak frites, cajun shrimp pasta and the bacon cheeseburger. Everything was really good and dessert was a huge brownie with ice cream and we also got the pistachio creme brûlée. We will definitely be back.
